An alternative framework for E-model inflation in supergravity

Abstract We present novel realizations of E-model inflation within Supergravity which are largely associated with the existence a pole order one in kinetic term (gauge-singlet) inflaton superfield. This arises due to selected logarithmic Kähler potentials $$K_1$$ K 1 and $${\widetilde{K}}_1$$ ~ , parameterize same hyperbolic manifold scalar curvature $${{{\mathcal {R}}}}_{K}=-2/N$$ R = - 2 / N where $$(-N)<0$$ ( ) < 0 is coefficient term. The superpotential W exhibits R charge inflaton-accompanying superfield includes all allowed renormalizable terms. For $$K=K_1$$ can be attained for $$N=2$$ at cost some tuning regarding coefficients terms predicts tensor-to-scalar ratio r level 0.001. totally eluded $$K={\widetilde{K}}_1$$ allows quadratic- quartic-like models N values increasing spectral index $$n_\mathrm{s}$$ n s close or even equal its central observational value.
